1. Members’ Monthly Meeting: The next CHAA members' meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, July 19. Our guest speaker, Ken Arnott, will be sharing adventures from his recent trip with Roz to Alaska and Yukon.

It's a busy year for backseat rides, with numerous enquiries about rides at the airport and at away events. As you can see above, the weekend offsite events are almost totally sold out with only two available backseats for the August 20 Kitchener Airshow remaining, and three spots available for a flyover at Port Rowan on Sunday, September 4. Last, but certainly not least, the Tiger Moth is now ready to take to the air and backseat rides are available.

Since the last HH, CHAA has welcomed sixteen new members, among who are two from New Zealand who were the crew on the return trip from the Hamilton Air Show.  Many of the sixteen had their first crew ride in one of our Harvards.

RE: NAME BADGES - If there is enough interest I will be ordering CHAA name badges.  These will have the CHAA logo and your name.  I need to have 25 orders to keep the cost below $15.00.  Email or call ASAP.

On a personal note - Thank you, from Ray and I, for all the cards, e-mails, phone calls and those who attended the open house for our 50th wedding anniversary.

5. CHAA Website Updates:

At the request of your Board of Directors, Roy Venn ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) will be making every effort to keep the CHAA website calendar up-to-date in a timely fashion. For this to happen, any events you are scheduling in CHAA’s name need to be forwarded to Roy as soon as you know about them. For Operations, forward all tentative bookings and mark them as tentative. They will posted in that way and it will be up to the individual responsible to advise both Roy and any individuals concerned of cancellations (especially as they relate to back seat rides.)  Further, anyone forwarding information must send it fully written out, using the wording they want to be read by our website users. It will not be Roy’s responsibility to write your event information.  Thank you for your cooperation with this venture as we strive to use our website to keep our membership informed.
