Second World War flying veteran Ken Raven, 101, of Huntsville got an opportunity to enjoy a flight in the same type of craft he piloted in Europe. One more moment in the sun.

That’s what Second World War flying veteran Ken Raven experienced at the Tillsonburg Regional Airport on Wednesday. Thanks to the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association located on-site, pilot Allan Paige took Raven for a flight in the same model of aircraft he piloted in Europe.

“It was a very sturdy airplane, it was easy to fly, from what I can remember,” Raven chuckled.
